***My prices are about half of what the salons charge. I am able to do these services at a fraction of the price because I do this out of my home. I am a licensed cosmetologist and a certified and experienced Hair Extension Specialist!****

If you are looking for a long lasting, natural looking hair extension, you should consider Fusion or Micro Link hair extensions.
Fusion is generally the preferred method as fused hair extensions can last up to six months with professional application and proper care. Fusion hair extensions are indistinguishable from your natural hair. When applied correctly, the attachment site is virtually invisible.
I use 100% human remy hair which blends much better then synthetic does. Not to mention you can curl it, flat iron it, what ever you do to your own hair, just with a little more caution.
Fusion extensions are applied piece by piece (each piece contains on average about 120 hairs) all over the head. There is a keratin (keratin is a protein that your hair and nails are made of) bond on the tip of each piece, which is then fused to your hair at the root.
On average a full set of extensions will take about 5-8 hours depending on the thickness of your hair and how much is being fused in.
Once the extensions have grown out bit ( I recommend no more than 3 inches of regrowth) it will be time to remove them. I use a special solution to remove them. If the extensions were taken care of, it should take no more than a few hours to remove.
Pricing
I charge $500.00-$600.00 for a full head of hair extensions. The price varies depending on the thickness of your hair and how much hair I have to put in. I can give you an exact price with a consultation. This includes two packages of hair. On average this costs $1,200 -1,400, and can even get as high as $3,000!
***If you can find a professional that does it cheaper in MN, I will beat their price!!!!****
If you have extremely thick or course hair, one more package of hair may need to be purchased. Hair runs $125.00-$135.00/ pack. If you are looking to add in pieces for thickness, then the price will vary.
When the bond from the extensions grows about 3 inches away from the scalp, then it will be time to take them out. I charge $75.00 for removal. It usually takes about two hours.
Before any hair extension service, a brief consultation will need to be done to determine the color and amount of hair needed. If you can find a professional that does it cheaper in Minnesota, I will beat their price!
CONSULTATIONS ARE FREE!

Hair extensions do take a little extra care! Remember you have extra hair attached to your head. Maintenance will have to be done usually at the 3-4 month mark to prevent any matting. Brushing with the provided brush is very important! If you start to experience any tangling, or matting, call me right away to get in for maintenance. It happens very rarely, but some hair textures like to snarl easier than others. The longer that you leave your hair to matte, the worse it will get! Make sure to brush at the scalp at least twice a day, if not more. I can get out mattes, but it can be very time consuming and can be avoided with a little extra care. Not to mention, it is very scary when you have a big matte in your hair.
Hair Extensions After Care
● To prepare your hair to have extensions installed you should freshly wash your hair with a good clarifying shampoo and only apply conditioner to the ends of your hair if you absolutely need it. Freshly cleaned and dried hair will ensure a strong bond.
● After you have had extensions put in do not wash your hair for at least 24-48 hours. This allows the bonds to fully harden. The longer you wait, the better it is for the longevity of the bonds.
● Regular washing of your hair should be only once every two to three days.
● I recommend using a professional shampoo of some sort for your hair. I can not guarantee the longevity of the extensions if you are using an over the counter product.
● When conditioning your hair, try to keep the conditioner away from the bonds. Conditioner on or too near to the bonds may cause them to loosen and slip. Always keep the hair in a relatively straight position while washing. Never lather it up into a ball on top of your head- this can cause tangling.
● After showering, you can blow dry your hair but try not to put any direct heat on the bonds or they could loosen and slip.
● You may swim as usual but remember that prolonged water exposure may weaken the bonds. Dry roots as quickly as possible.
● Always brush out your hair before washing and again afterwards to avoid any tangling. You may use a spray in detangler or leave in conditioner on the ends of your hair.
● Extensions seem to be susceptible to being pulled out when the bonds are wet, so use care when brushing. Always start from the bottom up.
● You will need to purchase an extension brush. It can be purchased from me, or you can check your local beauty supply store.
● When brushing your hair use extreme care. Always hold hair in a ponytail while brushing out the ends (which may be done with a regular brush). For the rest of your hair, hold one hand firmly against your scalp while brushing. Doing this will ensure less shedding and a longer life for your extensions. When brushing over your scalp, you should use a extension brush to avoid any bristles getting caught in the bonds and pulling out your natural hair. Also, feel free to brush and run your fingers through your hair a lot! This will keep the hair from snarling up.
● Remember your extensions are attached to your own natural hair, pulling too hard or mistreating your extensions can result in your own hair being pulled out.
● All of the extensions I do are done with 100% remy human hair, so you may use straighteners, curling irons, or any type of hot tools on your extensions that you would normally use on your real hair as long as you keep the heat away from the initial bond.
● You may get your roots touched up after your hair starts to grow out without any problems.
● I recommend sleeping in a loose ponytail or braids to avoid any tangling from occurring during the night. Also for an extra precaution, a satin pillow case will help avoid friction!
● Some shedding is normal. Please take into account that if you had short hair to begin with you’re only use to seeing very short hairs on your brush; now that you have long hair it will look like there is a lot more hair in your brush, this is normal.
